Slow Beautiful Sex
This song was supposed to be a satire but ended up sounding a trifle, well…bitter, methinks. The picture is from a flyer for the Lingerie Club. Thanks to Sonic Reclamation Industries, who are “dedicated to preserving lost, out-of-print (or never-in-print) audio recordings of significant artistic or historical value.” I got the mp3 from their page because I don’t have a working turntable. I guess it’s no use trying to hide from some things. This is a novelty song from a band already in love with novelty. Louis Cabaza was brought in from the Gap Band by producer Craig Leon to spice up my overly white playing with synth fillers. Let’s drink a toast to art school smarm with a warm, wet glass of Giacobazzi. —JD

How to Kill a Millionaire

featuring Voxx on pseudo French vocal
I did this as a demo for the film “Chain of Desire,” based on the French film La Ronde.
